Ship to Shore
Generating renewable power

Increases in maritime shipping and the subsequent environmental pollution this causes have created a demand for ship to shore power solutions that comply with environmental restrictions in ports and harbours. Cold-ironing, the term given to ships shutting down their main and auxiliary engines and then plugging into shore-side power while in berth, can greatly reduce air pollution from ships.

ReGenerator can be installed easily in port providing a clean power solution for ship to shore applications and where ships lay idling.
Shore power eliminates up to 90% of the vessel’s emissions at berth, which help contribute significantly to the reduction of maritime emission when in port. ReGenerator is not only an environmentally friendly solution but one which will reduce cost for the ship-owner and port.
Furthermore our shore power connection will allow the vessel’s auxiliary engines to be shut off, which will reduce the regular maintenance requirements due to the stresses usually incurred by a vessel operating at lower working hours.
